Today

This is a list of things that happened at work.

· Summer is on a diet so she went to McDonald’s and didn’t eat the bread on her sandwich. That way there were no carbs and it was “healthy” It was the best thing ever. Loved it!
· There is a mandatory meeting on my next day off that I informed my supervisor that I would not be attending.Sadness....
· When I told Norm I didn’t feel well he backed away slowly. He then brought me a trash can so I don’t ruin the carpet. He’s so thoughtful. Haha.
· Vivint is having an “End of the year Carnival”. My work friends tried to get me to say that I would be going. (There is no way in HELL that I would go to a show like that for “fun”)
· I raffled off my tickets to the carnival to my coworkers. Haha (That was fun.)
· I rocked my 1:1!
· Brock through a fit because his break was moved from 11am to 11:15. He freaked out at Cam. They has to leave the central Station to a finish the discussion. Norm ended up sending him home. There was HUGE drama because Brock is a big baby!
·

Good idea: Making AWESOME stew and getting to eat it with some of my most favorite people.
Bad Idea: Carrying the 7qt crock pot and 2 loafs of bread the half mile to their house.
Result: My arms are very sore. Haha

Good Idea: Waking up a few minutes early to work out before you head to work.
Bad Idea: Waking up a few minutes early to work out before you ride your bike 5 miles up hill to work.

Good Idea: Having good work friends to help the day pass by faster at work.
Better Idea: Not sitting by people so I can focus on my work.
Result: I have gotten 90%’s and higher on graded calls, I have had zero errors, my productivity is awesome and now that I am not sick my attendance is good too. WOOT!

Good Idea: Saving all my extra meal tickets at work.
Bad Idea: Forgetting your name badge at home so you are unable to print out a meal ticket.
Result: I own the souls of Kasey and Jeremy. Muhahaha!

Good Idea: quietly letting someone know that their toonies are showing.
Result: Tiphanie freaking out at me. (It made me want to punch her in the face…. HARD. It also made me wish that her toonies were still showing!) (I’m not bitter…)

This and That:

· I want to make bread
· I want my house to clean its self
· I want to never be tired again
· I want to sew all the time
· I want to be a master at paper piecing
· I want to be a H.I.N.J.
· I want to Shave people’s eyebrows and make them cry
· I want to throw my phone at the wall.
· Dedra is making a quilt that makes me painfully jealous
· Someone needs to make me a treat. NOW!

I should learn to proof read... Naaa

It’s that time again. I really do well about posting and then I get in a rut and think “blah! I don’t love my blog.” Well I have decided to overlook my momentary distaste for my blog and post something.

I brought over the ugly blanket to show Spencer. As far as I could tell, he thought it was neat. He told me he was sorry for ruining everything. I told him he ruined nothing. That this blanket will still be used. He was able to see it. There is nothing ruined. He didn’t want to have his picture taken. I told him he had to. He said that I wasn’t to post it. So, sadly you won’t get to see said picture.

School started again. I didn’t realize how much more traffic there would be. My ride to work has become more interesting. Now I have to watch for crazy teen drivers too. haha. I am amazed on how many kids drive. I don’t remember that many people driving when I was in high school. Whatever.

My allergies were going crazy for a couple of days. (It’s rained and I feel much better now.) Spencer asked what was wrong because I was sniffing. He thought I was crying. I told him I was fine that I would be better when it rained. He asked if he would be better too when it rained. That he was tired of being sick. I really did start crying after that. It was heart breaking. That was a couple of days ago.

I have discovered that you can’t read a book on your electronic device but you are able to read a magazine at your desk. That made zero sense to me. Oh well, I was able to read almost the whole Ensign at work today. Ha!

Last night Spencer was awake and we were talking… sort of… He was asking his normal round of questions trying to figure out what was going on. After he decided that he hated everything I started asking him questions.

I asked Spencer if he knew what was still holding him to this life. He said he didn’t know but he wished he did.

I asked Spencer if he was scared. He was quiet for a moment. He was frustrated and said that he didn’t know.

I asked if he was ready. He said Yes.

I asked if he knew that he is loved. He said he wasn’t worth it. I said “That is not what I asked you. I asked if you knew you were loved. Not if you thought you were worth it.” He said Yes. I then explained to him that he is worth loving.

I asked if he remembered the first time he told me he loved me. He said no. I told him the story. He said he was sorry for not remembering.

I asked him if he remembered the slinky date. He smiled and said yes. I started to cry. I was so happy. The slinky date was fun. We’d only been dating a couple of months. It was getting chilly outside. I had made us stew for dinner. We then raced slinkies down the stairs at the apartments I was living at, at the time. In the trunk of my car I had put 2lt bottles of Diet coke and a 12 pack of cans. I had Mentos in my pocket. We made soda fountains and bombs at the park. It was so fun! When we got back from the park we were sticky. It was a mess. We then finger panted with different colors of pudding and then ate it with graham crackers. He painted my face a little. My roommate at the time made us call a truths before it got too messy. Haha. It was really fun.

I asked him if he remembered all the puzzles we worked on while we were getting to know each other. He said yes. I was so glad.

I know that he will have a perfect knowledge when he dies. I know that he will be able to remember everything. It doesn’t stop it from hurting when he doesn’t remember big moments. I am glad that he remembers other things though. It’s funny, without the puzzles we wouldn’t had had the slinky date. Without the slinky date we wouldn’t have ended up talking about visiting Washington. Without the trip to Washington we wouldn’t have worked our way up the “I love you” stage. Maybe he just remembers the important moments that lead up to the big ones. See even now he is teaches me perspective. He’s a turd. I love him.

After my Mom died I was scared. I knew that I would be able to see her again. I just needed to remain faithful to what I knew was right and true. I am not going to pretend that I didn’t go a little crazy after she died because I did. After much soul searching, prayer, fasting and a lot of help from Spencer and my family I have found a deeper understanding of the Gospel and the Plan of Salvation. I know that when I pray that Heavenly Father hears the word I say. I also know that sometimes He wants to tell me to “SHUT UP”. I know that I will get to see my Mother again. I know this. I know that my family is an Eternal one. There will be a party on the block labeled “Kent and Charlet Anderson’s Family” It will be loud, fun and you wish you were invited. Haha. The last 2 ½ years have taught me a great deal. I am sad to be losing Spencer. I am. The thought of him not being here brings me to tears every time. He has a great work to do. He will be able to be a missionary. He is an amazing teacher. He is so kind and patient. He has an understanding of the gospel that will help him in the next life.

I was scared when Mom died. I am not so scared with Spencer dying. ( I am scared for him to meet mom. He thought the rest of us were nuts. He’s going to meet the Mama of the crazies!) I am sad but I am not scared. I am so thankful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I don’t think that I would have been able to handle this life without the truths and the knowledge that the church has provided me.

The Story

The last time I posted was Monday. I try to keep up with posting but sometimes I am just too tired to even pretend to type up something to post. Here is Today and the past 2 days…

Tuesday June 19, 2012

I had the day off. I was going to rent a car to drive up to Salt Lake to go to the Apple Store. I wanted to get the screen of my iPod fixed. Spencer told me that his dad was going to head up to Salt Lake to pick something up and that we could just ride with him.

Upon calling the Apple store to see if they could fit me in, I found out some news I didn’t like. They couldn’t just fix my screen. They could replace my WHOLE iPod. It would cost $100. I don’t want a new iPod. If I wanted a new one, I would have bought a new one. Spencer said he’d pay for it if I wanted to do that.

I thought he was so nice for offering to pay for it but I declined. We didn’t end up going to Salt Lake. I didn’t want a new iPod. I would rather have a screen that is cracked than a new iPod. Spencer surprised me on our first Christmas with THIS iPod. Not the one I would have gotten at the store on Tuesday. He picked the one I have. He wrapped it. He gave it to me. He worried about what to put on the one I have. I am a sentimental fool. I’m okay with that.

He had a harder day. He rested for most of the day. I sat with him. It was a good day. We were together the whole day. He rested. We talked. I loved it. I love him.

Wednesday June 20, 2012

I rented a car. I had a ton of errands that I needed to run. The plan was to have Spencer come with me. He wasn’t feeling up to really going anywhere after breakfast. I sat by his bed for a little while before I left to get my stuff done. Olivia came with me for a couple of hours. She was fun to hang out with. She’s a good kid.

Olivia and I went to Costco, Wal-Mart and Winco. She had to be back by 2. I dropped her off then and kept going with the rest of my errands. It was fun to do some running around with her. It was also nice to talk. She’s a really good kid.

I retured the car around 3pm. I didn’t need it anymore. I then rode my bike to Spencer’s house. I sat with him. We talked about the day. I told him about errands. He told me about how he’s been resting.

We came down stairs around 5:30 for dinner. We watched a movie and I was home by 8:45. It was a really good day. I got everything done that was needed done. I spent most of the day with Spencer. It was a good day

Thursday June 21, 2012

I am back to work today. Not my favorite pastime but I have no other choice. I am frustrated by work. It cramps my style.

Alexa will be here Saturday. I am still trying to figure out how I am going to go get her. I will have a plan though. I may have to buy someone a present to use their car. Haha.

I worked from 8-6:30. I was home by 7:30. I helped a friend get home safe. She had a migraine. We were both on bikes. I didn't want her to get hit by a car.
Nothing too exciting happened at work. Just another day of stupid people not knowing how to work their alarms. Here’s a clue, when the alarm is sounding, type in your code and hit off. If we call you and don’t want the police showing up, ANSWER! Haha.

I sat with Spencer for about 90 minutes before I had to come home. I'm old an lame. He came with when I left. I always like it when he rides along. I like having those extra 2 minutes.
I heard a song that made me cry. I live it mucho. I wish I was smart enough to add a link. The lyrics are perfect.

The Story

All of these lines across my face
Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I've been
And how I got to where I am
But these stories don't mean anything
When you've got no one to tell them to
It's true...I was made for you
I climbed across the mountain tops
Swam all across the ocean blue
I crossed all the lines and I broke all the rules
But baby I broke them all for you
Because even when I was flat broke
You made me feel like a million bucks
You do
I was made for you
You see the smile that's on my mouth
It's hiding the words that don't come out
And all of my friends who think that I'm blessed
They don't know my head is a mess
No, they don't know who I really am
And they don't know what
I've been through like you do
And I was made for you...
All of these lines across my face
Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I've been
And how I got to where I am
But these stories don't mean anything
When you've got no one to tell them to
It's true...I was made for you

I love it.

The last couple of days

Have been awesome!

The evening of June 1st

Dad, Dedra and I went and did baptisms for the dead. Dedra hadn't done that in 20 years. It was awesome to be able to do that with them.

The morning of June 2nd

Dedra ironed my dress.
I curled my hair.
Dad packed his bag.

We went to the Temple. It was amazing. Dad, Dedra and River were there for me. It was wonderful. After our session we were able to be do a sealing session! So within a 19 hour period I was able to do everything possible from Bapism-Sealings. It was amazing! And to end it all they let Dedra and I change in the bridal room! We ate cookies. It was awesome.

River couldn't make it to lunch but Spencer could. It was nice to have him with us. My high for the 2nd was when we picked up Spencer. I went up stairs to get him. He met me on the little landing. He put his arms around me. He kissed me. Then he told me how proud he is of me. I love him so much.

June 3rd

I worked. That was lame. My family went home. They are lame! (I mean that with all the love in my heart.) {this is a secret message to Dedra. You poop your pants. That's a compliment.}

Spencer invited me over for dinner. It was yummy. I spent most of the evening sitting next to Spencer in his room as he is resting. I love being able to just sit and hold his hand. It makes me happy. He is always the best part of my day. The saying goodbye almost
Brings me to tears everyday. The seeing him is always worth it though.

I am so thankful for the last few days. It has been amazing and very eye opening. I can't wait to go back to the Temple. It's such an amazing place.

My pictures are Spencer sleeping and one of him as an old man. This was the site I wanted to wake up to for the rest of my life but don't get to. He was supposed to grow old with me. I looked forward to us being grandparents. I will miss him. I love him.

Such a good day!

Spencer text me at 6:20am. It was an early yet good morning. We made breakfast together. It was fun.

After breakfast he asked me if I'd be up for watching The Emperor's New Groove. It's one of his favorite movies. We watched it. It was nice to just chill.

I was able to get him to compromise with me about the interview. I have a tape recorder. He was more willing to talk when it wasn't on camera. Little does he know that I still recorded him on camera. While I was asking him questions and he was talking to my tape recorder his eyes were shut. He was tired. So I pulled out my camera and filmed him. I got a good 30 minutes of talking and maybe 15 of video.

We walked around the library. I was able to get a couple of pictures. (Seen at the bottom of the blog post. He looks grumpy. He doesn't like having his picture taken. Ha!) He said he'd not been there in a long time and wanted to walk around. We did.

We then walked to the Provo Bakery. I didn't know that it existed. He said he used to go there as a kid. He would get the orange sweet rolls or cookies. Today we got orange sweet rolls. They were tasty. :)

We hung out at his house for a bit. I went home around 2 ish.(Pictures at the bottom is the post) Spencer went to Sam somewhere. Spencer and I had dinner plans tonight. I needed to get ready anyway.

Spencer came over at 6 for dinner. I made chicken curry. It was stinking awesome let me tell you. I was well pleased and so was Spencer. He asked if he could eat more tomorrow. There was plenty of left overs so he'll be able to have more tomorrow.

Spencer and I were able to have one of the best conversations we have ever had tonight. In those moments I am reminded why I love him so much and how thankful I am to have him in my life. Spencer is one of the best people I have ever met. I am lucky to have him. Even if it was only for a little while.

I asked Spencer if he would dance with me as my birthday present because we spent my birthday in the hospital. (Spencer told me he had planned on driving me to Idaho for Shari's pie for my birthday. That didn't work out due to his brain trying to explode.) We danced tonight. Well, it was more we stood there and cried. Have you ever heard the song 'One More Day' by Diamond Rio? That's the song we danced to. I am crying again just thinking about it.

Spencer said dinner was his high. I would have to say the dance was mine. It was a good day.

My day in a nutshell

Heather was racing me out the door this morning. It was so funny. She won because she is highly educated.
Work seemed to drag on and on! I think it's because I have tomorrow off. I was so glad to be done with the day. I'd helped with training. It's the blind leading the blind! It's fun though.

Today Hannah Hales turned 14. When I met her she was 12. It is weird to me that she is 14 now.
After work Katie gave me a ride to The store than to Spencer's house.
I gave Hannah her flowers an Spencer wrapped her present.
We had Brick Oven Pizza for dinner. It was yummy.
After dinner Hannah opened presents. Spencer and I had gotten her the flowers and then seeds for an herb garden. She plants things in cups and pots outside. She's got a bit of a green thumb. She seemed to like the seeds.
After presents we went for a walk. Not a crazy long walk. It was about 2 1/2 miles. Spencer kept saying he was fine but I think he over did it. Web we got home he Tom his meds and then went to lay down.

It was a fun evening. I have to say though my favorite part of the day was when he was laying down. I sat by him and we talked for about an hour. I told him some of my favorite memories from when we met and had just started dating. We talked about our dream house. What it would look like. What we would be doing in 25 years. Things we've talked about before but now seem so much more important.
We decided about 6-8 ish months ago that when we had kids their baby blankets would all have the same pattern but different colors for each kid. That as they grew and got bigger beds I would make them new blankets. They would look the same. The pattern and colors wouldn't change but they would go from crib to twin to full to queen. Then when we were done having kids we would make us a blanket that is the same pattern as the kids blankets but using each of their colors. We decided tonight that I should still do that even though it won't be for Spencer and I.

I am so glad that I was able to see Spencer today. I am looking forward to seeing him again tomorrow. I am hoping we get to do the video interview. Keep your fingers crossed.

These are some pictures from Hannah's birthday stuff.

Ensign Ranch 2012 AWESOMENESS!

There was no sleep but there was lots of fun!

Spencer and I got to Dad's hide on Thursday night. We had Christmas. It was awesome. Spencer got a bunch of treats in is stocking and then a $20 iTunes card. I got candy, a journal and a 16 quart stock pot that didn't fit in my suitcase. So it's still ad Dad's.

We arrived at the Ranch on Friday afternoon. Out cousin Angie came for the night. She is so fun. We played games and laughed until we couldn't breathe!
Fun was put on hold when Angie's daughter took a nose dive off the top bunk and broke her arm. We have all done stupid stuff but that was our first ER trip. Carmon is doing fine now.

We played Loaded Questions! Ryan's career at The Mustang Ranch and Butt Pimple were two running jokes. With Spencer being our official reader of the answers we were able to get him to broaden his vocabulary. Haha.
Rhonda is a klepto of socks.
Dedra and I are world famous opera singers that not only get standing ovations, we clear the room! Hahaha!
We are all minions.
Everyones nails got painted. Even the boys. No exceptions!
Payton is in love with Spencer.
We did floating lanterns.
We played pool.
We played the piano.
We talked.
We played in the snow.

We ate amazing food and a lot of it! We played games until 3am. We woke up early. We all have Mormon hang overs.
(Tummy hurts from laughing head duets from all the sugar and achy from no sleep.)

I love my family so much!

I can't wait until next year!!!!!

Ensign Ranch

This is my first blog of the year. Sweet!

For those of you who are not cool enough to be an Anderson, married to an Anderson, the spawn of an Anderson or the parents who started it all, good luck getting through the doors. We have an army of kids who won't let you play.

This is the best weekend of the year! There is too much food, too little sleep and if you say it's too loud you might get beat.

Only at the Ranch is Ping Pong a full contact sport. Only at the Ranch will you see RYAN sing opera. Only at the Ranch will you see the adults get in trouble by the kids. Only at the Ranch...

We play games. We talk about things we did as kids. It's always fun to see how many times you can hear "That was you who did that!" from your parents. (We're adults. What are they going to do? Ground us?) Dedra, I Wore the house coat.

Spoons are broken, people laugh until they can breath, talents are shown, food is eaten and sleep is for the weak!

Its so fun and I can't hardly wait. Spencer and I will be flying out this afternoon. We will return Monday and I hope to have pictures for your viewing pleasure by Tuesday... And maybe the stories that go along with them. Hahahahaha

8 eggs

At work we have teamed up with some photographers. One of them came in to explain what corporate is up to.
This guy was awesome! We were all talking and he explained the "all your eggs in one basket" of dating.

You start with 10 eggs. You can have one egg in 10 baskets or 2 in 5. You just can't have more than 10 eggs. I really loved this and had to share.

1 egg - Your first date.
2 eggs- Your second date
3 eggs- Your third date

4 eggs- This is when you say you like the other person.
5 eggs- Physical touch other than lips. Arm around the shoulders or holding hands. Things like that.

You can still have 2 baskets with 5 in each. You get 10 eggs dating. Do with them what you will.

Kiss goodbye to one of the baskets!

6 eggs- Your first kiss. You only kiss one person at a time. So only one basket.
7 eggs- Constant kissing. When you are really getting to know the person. More than the fluff of eggs 1-3 . Also its the make out stage.

8 eggs- This is a big one. This Eggs is placed in the basket when you say "I love you"

9 eggs- This is marriage talk.
10 eggs- He bought the ring and it's on her finger.

Now I'm sure you're wondering why only 10 eggs in the dating game... The other 2 are when you're married.

11 eggs- Your wedding night
12 eggs- When she is pregnant.

I have 8 eggs.

Things I've done that you probably haven't

So I'm a late follower to trends. Dedra and Ryan already Sid this but I thought I'd take a stab at it.

- I've stayed up for 3 days straight making funnel cakes for people who looked grosser than I felt.

- I flew to Utah for the day to go on a date with my friend Devon.

- I was part of a flash mob on BYU campus and at Walmart.

- I have played cards in the coolers at Walmart.

- I have went to more festivals and fairs in one summer than most people go to in a life time.

- I went to 5 concerts in 5 days.

- I have waltzed wearing a period Renn dress and a cape in the middle of a park when a Renn faire wasn't going on.

- I have walked the main street in almost every major town in Washington state.

- I have been to the top of almost ever lighthouse on Oregon coast.

- I swam in the Puget Sound

- I have ridden and elephant

I invite you to post a blog like this one too.

Now for my favorite part. Random pictures! Spencer doesn't love this game. He deletes the ones of him. RUDE!

My Tuesday story (late) The Ghettoness Of Craig's - Part 2

This is where I work. Craig's Cuts. You see the 7 in the sign? That's because Our cuts are only $7! Isn't Craig Nice? (He's Trying to Kill us!)

This is the Shop. Anya is sitting at the "front desk" finishing up the numbers. We were finally closed! See the gross floor? Did I not tell you is was gross!

This is the Craig's Cuts History! You will see that some bratty kids have started to peel off the letters and numbers. Also Craig does NOT pay is better than the average chain. He is a LIAR! I'm sure if it were 1925 and we were paid what we are we'd be making bank. Its 2011 my friends! We are making peanuts! Not even that! We are making broken peanut shells that you scrape off the bottom of your shoes.

We also do waxing. You see that nice clean wax pot? I told him it was gross a year ago and that we needed a new one. As you see he didn't listen.

We have had customers comment on out pretty sink. We need a new one. This one is falling apart. Craig will not pay for things. Things are expensive.

See the tape on the hose? I have the water running in this picture. You can see that the water is leaking from under the tape. I didnt have it on too high. I didnt want to spray myself in the face!

Proof Craig wants to kill us.

This is our break room. Makes you want to just take a break right now doesnt it!

You see how everyone else has a real sign and we have a banner held up by bungy cords? Yeah, we're high class.

Craig has this sign on the door of the shop. He likes to micro manage and babysit us. This is his personal Cell Number. No Joke! He really wants you to call him and tell him about your experience at the shop. If you liked it then we have no reward. If you didnt like it he cuts your hours, Makes your life a living Hell and then if you are lucky he'll fire you. He's by far the best boss ever! YAY CRAIG!

I have worked here for a year now. He had 5 locations and is making a mockery of the hair industry. He has no business sense and knows nothing about hair. He is going to school right now. He is a History Major and wants to be a basketball coach when he grows up! SERIOUSLY!
